11 Months Old!

This sort of sums up trying to get photos of our little 11 month old:

So needless to say, here's our best shot:

Wow, we can't believe our baby is almost one year old! He finally started crawling in the last month and we have seen his personality come alive even more. He loves his new found freedom. He's talking even more, shaking his head "noooo", and still loves to point at things. He's also expanding his diet and is eating more and more table food with mom and dad. He loves bananas (however he hated baby food banana but who wouldn't?!? ;), Gerber Graduate foods like Wagon Wheels, Puffs (like Cheetos but more bland), and yogurt melts (like astronaut food!) He's also eating Cheerios, potatoes, beans, cheese, Mac and Cheese...the list goes on!

He mimics us when we say words like "Duck" and "Dog" and he still somewhat refers to me as "Mama mamama" but I'm not sure if he completely knows what he's saying there yet!

He has his second tooth coming in on the top. Yes, he now has a tooth on the bottom and a tooth on top! I think the other top tooth is just around the corner but haven't seen signs of the other bottom one yet.

And last but not least, with Jack's new freedom of crawling, it's been so fun to see him play with Henry and other babies. They will chase the ball, steal toys, poke at each other, climb on each other...

He remains the center of attention (that won't be changing anytime soon!) and he's the light of our life. We just can't get enough of him...well, it's nice when he takes his naps. :)

Here's my attempt at getting photos of Jack in his santa hat. He hated it and there was no time to straighten his ear or all tears would have broken loose...I amazingly was able to distract him for a bit but of course I realized why he hated it so much...it made a mark on his forehead after being there for just a minute!
