Jack and Henry are matching!

Kadie and I had some fun last night taking some photos and video of the boys. I had received 2 of the same Winnie the Pooh onesies in 2 different sizes (newborn and 0-3 months). So Henry wore the newborn onesie and Jack wore the 0-3 month onesie. They were so happy and content and we got some fun photos and video of them (video to come)! Keep in mind that Henry, the little guy, is 3 weeks older than Jack! Jack is about 5 weeks old and Henry is about 8 weeks old.

One Month Old!

Jack is one month old today! It is so hard to believe it's already been a month. We took some one month photos of him today and he did a great job! He's such a happy baby. Things we have learned about Jack in the first month are:

1. He loves the cool sounds his dad makes. They quiet him down in no time when he is upset.
2. He also loves to watch our ceiling fans...I'd have to say they are his first and favorite toy!
3. He's a healthy eater...already 3 pounds over his birth weight! (10 pounds 5 ounces) Dad is ready for him to tackle oreos and milk...not quite ready for that, though.
4. He's adorable when he frowns during a good cry. Ok, so I probably shouldn't think it's cute but it's priceless.
5. And he's not a big fan of being put in his car seat. But otherwise, he seems to be happy going places once he is in, which makes his mom very happy.

We are excited for the next month and can't imagine how much he will continue to change! Praise God!

Our cutie

Here's a quick video of Jack sitting up like a big boy. He likes his little seat. He's growing so quickly...we weighed him this morning and he was already 10 pounds 3 ounces! Almost 3 pounds more than when he was born!

Spoons and games!

 

 

 

 

Kadie and Hahn came over with soup and salad from Spoons for dinner last night. Luckily after a baby break for each baby, we were able to finish eating, then played a few rounds of Golf. It was so fun to get together. Before they left, we put Henry down next to Jack and took a few photos. It is so hard to believe how much bigger Jack is. It's hard to believe Henry is 3 weeks older! Jack weighed in at 8 pounds 14 ounces today (a few days shy of being 3 weeks old)...well above his birth weight of 7 pounds 5 ounces!
