He's laughing!!

Last week mom and I caught him laughing for the first time. Today Edward found the magic touch and was able to get him to laugh while I video taped.

The other day Edward layed down in the floor to play with Jack. In no time, Edward was asleep as Jack continued to play in his rainforest gym. Babies wear us adults out!

So I was bummed...we took this photo and the flash didn't go off. I've done my best to recover it in a sort of "artistic" manner. Definitely one of my favorites!

3 Months Old!

It's been 12 weeks since Jack was born. The time has flown by! I can barely picture how he was just a few weeks ago before he was smiling, cooing, looking around and more alert.

He has really started to love his toys. He has his rainforest gym, he loves his new mobile (I found it at a garage sale this weekend for 3 bucks!), he's really warmed up to his swing when he's tired. He also has a new "Kick & Play" that is a bouncy seat--when he kicks, the lights and music/sounds play. It's so fun to watch him discover new things and find what makes him happy.

He's become a lot more drooley & slobbery as well. He's happy to gnaw on his hands or my arms. He even slept through the night one night! (Ok, so it was the night after we got his rainforest gym...I think we wore him out that day!)

Our boys

We went to Cafe Mexicali to get dinner last night with Kadie and Henry (Hahn had to work). We took it back to our house to watch the Season Finale of LOST. The boys were pretty happy chillin' together in the chair with their sodas. I like that their outfits just happened to coordinate with their soda cans. Jack is 11 weeks old and Henry is 14 weeks old.

Whitewater Rafting!

As I've mentioned before, since Jack was born and we have found ourselves awake at different times at night, we've found that 92.5 does a "first caller 5 o'clock giveaway" when their DJs start their show. This morning we both were calling and Edward was the big winner!

We recorded the radio with our camera video. It's fun to hear what they had to say. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the clip to export to share. They asked Edward what he was doing and he said he was feeding his 11-week old. The DJs went off about Mr. Mom and how great it is for him to be involved, etc.


So...the big prize? A $50 gift certificate to go white water rafting. Not too much money in the white water rafting world, but our hope is to make that our 5 year anniversary event this summer.

Jack's Rainforest Activity Gym

We finally found an activity gym for Jack at a garage sale today! It's perfect--he loves it so much. The lights and music go on when he grabs or moves any of the hanging items. We wore him out with it today...literally. Here's a video of his first reaction to the gym. Then the photos of him a bit later after enjoying it.
