Our hospital stay

Here are some photos of our hospital stay with friends and family visiting. We had a great experience at the hospital. We came home Monday night and the week since then has gone quickly!

Baby Ajax is born!

Ajax Emerson "Jack" was born on Saturday, February 21st at 8:14pm. He was 7 pounds 5 ounces and 21 3/4 inches long. He is absolutely adorable and we couldn't be happier.

I spent most of the day in labor at home, we went to the hospital around 2:30 that afternoon. Our families frantically headed up to Fort Collins to wait.

Here are a few photos from that first night together. I will always cherish that day.

Valentine's Day Double Date!

We had planned a Valentine's Day outing with Kadie and Hahn..."Pre-babies." However, that didn't quite work out as we planned since baby Henry showed up 2 weeks ago! We still made a nice outing to Olive Garden for lunch together. It was so much fun to catch up after Kadie and Hahn's whirlwind couple of weeks. Their friendship is one we will always cherish, and we can't wait to share the growth of our kids together as well. (Our's just needs to decide to show up now! :)

My Northern Colorado Shower!

My friends Kristy and Kadie threw a baby shower for me in Loveland at Kristy's house. Kristy made an amazing cake. Kadie made an awesome due date calendar (complete with little swaddled baby boys and girls with different hair and eye features) for everyone at the shower to place their bets! (The funny thing is, Kadie didn't even make it onto my calendar since Henry was born an entire month early!) It was a great shower and went way too fast!

Baby Henry makes his appearance!

Kadie and Hahn's baby boy arrived Sunday night around 11 pm. We were all surprised as he was a little more than 4 weeks early (She's "due" a week and a half AFTER me!).

born Sunday, February 1, 2009 (Superbowl Sunday, I might add!)

4 pounds 15 ounces

I got to hold him for the first time last night in the NICU. He's absolutely adorable! I can't wait to get to know little Henry more. He is progressing wonderfully!

Kadie is recovering and doing great. They are very excited about their little boy (nickname to come! :)

We pretty much have the baby's room ready to go! Just a few things that will make it complete...but some of it requires waiting for our baby boy...or girl.

A special thank you to my mom for all the work she has done. She re-covered the glider, painted the shelves/boxes white, and also gave us the night stand...and painted it white!

Thank you also to Joey for the glider and to Edward's parents for the awesome changing table/dresser!
